Data handling & Privacy Policy

All data in this platform will comply with DOH Standard on Patient Healthcare Data Privacy standards.

All technology used and processing will be comply with the Federal Law No.2, 2019 on the Use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Healthcare, Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information and Cyber Security Standard (ADHICS).

We ensure that identifiable patient health information - “Protected Health Information” (PHI) - is appropriately protected for the use and disclosure by IRA subject to Federal Law no. 2, 2019, by setting the minimum data protection requirements will be comply in the platform.

IRA will not use the trade or exchange of the patient’s health data and information to other than authorized cases.

IRA will maintain the safety of the patient’s data and information from vandalism, damage, modification, alteration or unauthorized deletion.

IRA will authorized & facilitate healthcare regulators or their representatives to access to it when it is required for monitoring and auditing purpose.

IRA will obey the patient’s right to control the access to their data.

All the administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are applied within platform to satisfy privacy requirements of all data.

IRA will provide to patients to have the authority for selective disclosure of their health information to IRA as deemed necessary. Exercising this right shall not impede the patient’s existing rights to availing the services.

IRA will to have access to register Users’ personal email or phone number, for communication purpose and to provide you a better experience of booking appointments and for obtaining feedback in relation to the healthcare providers.

The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their user account information and password, if the User is registered on the portal. The user shall be responsible for all usage of the account and password, whether or not authorized by the user.

IRA may use such information collected from the users from time to time for the purposes of debugging customer support related issues.

Any publically posted review will be displayed on the portal or any partnered postal with the users name only if the user give consent to display the name.

Collection of Personal Information

Booking the tele-counselling appointment require us to know who you are so that we can best meet your needs and communicate with you further. When you access the services, or through any interaction with us via emails, telephone calls or other correspondence, we may ask you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you or could be used to personally identify you. You hereby consent to the collection of such information by IRA. Without prejudice to the generality of the above, information collected by us from you may include (but is not limited to) the following:

  • Contact information (such as your email address and phone number)
  • Demographic data (such as your gender, your date of birth and your address)
  • Data regarding your previous appointment and history of the appointments made by or with you through the use of Services
  • Insurance data (such as your insurance carrier and insurance plan)
  • Other information that you voluntarily choose to provide to us (such as information shared by you with us through emails or letters.

The information collected from you by IRA may constitute ‘personal information’ or ‘sensitive personal data or information’ under the Healthcare data protection in the UAE (Federal Law No 2 of 2019).

Collection, use and disclosure of information which has been designated as Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Data or Information’ under the UAE Federal Law requires your express consent. By affirming your assent to this Privacy Policy, you provide your consent to such use, collection and disclosure as required under applicable law.

Privacy Statements

The portal uses temporary cookies to store certain (that is not sensitive personal data or information) that is used by IRA and its service providers for the technical administration of the platform’s, research and development, and for User administration. In the course of serving advertisements or optimizing services to its Users, IRA may allow authorized third parties to place or recognize a unique cookie on the User’s browser. The cookies however, do not store any Personal Information of the User. You may adjust your internet browser to disable cookies. If cookies are disabled you may still use the platform, but the platform may be limited in the use of some of the features.

A User may have limited access to the platform without creating an account on the platform. Unregistered users can make appointments with the doctors by providing their name and phone number. In order to have access manage the appointment, a User must create an account, an email will be sent to you during the time of appointment creation for you to ease the process of creating an account.

IRA maintains a strict "No-Spam" policy, which means that IRA does not intend to sell, rent or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third party without your consent.
